Bongo singer, Lucas Mkenda, popularly
known as Mr. Nice, has come out to explain his miserable downfall in
music terming it as God’s plan.
In a recent media interview,
the Tanzanian artist said that he once had more than 1.5 Billion
shillings in his various bank accounts and he does not understand how
and where all that money disappeared to.
"Kaka naweza kusema
hii ni mipango ya Mungu tu kwani sikuwahi kumdhurumu mtu wala kuiba cha
mtu pesa yote nilikuwa naipata kwa hali naweza kusema hii ni mipango ya
Mungu tu wala si mkono wa mtu" he said
"Niliwahi kumiliki zaidi
ya milioni elfu moja na mia tano kwenye bank tofauti hapa nchini pesa
hizo zilitokana kufanya shoo nyingi za nje ya nchi kama Marekani,
Uingereza, Ujerumani, Sweden, Holand, Dubai, Afrika Kusini na kwingineko
na kila shoo nilikuwa napata pesa ndefu sana" he added during the
emotional interview.
The star also talked about his numerous
worldwide shows saying that the most memorable show he remembers and
which makes him cry upto today is a show in Rwanda when he found a
Rwandese minister waiting for him on the red carpet at the airport with a
multitude of fans complete with a military escort just for him.
