Controversial gospel mellow singer Willy Paul who grew up in Mathare once had hope while he was still new in the music industry that he will make it. The "sitolia" hitmaker back in the days while he was doing secular opted to try out for TPF4 auditions. At the auditions Willy Paul performed various songs from Sauti Sol but unfortunately he didn't qualify to get to the next round and so Ian mbugua who is known to be a no-nonsense judge sent him home. Just when he had loose hope in music, Simon of Yunasi band introduced him to J.blessing who made him what he is today. J.blessing mentored and made him what he is today.
